Lance I felt that I had to write you a letter of gratitude thanking you for your professional approach that you have shown in both marketing our house and assisting in finding a suitable new place in which to spend our future years. Unfortunately some real estate agents have instilled a stigma not dissimilar to that of used car salesmen where all too often it is easy to tell the customer what they want to hear and constantly looking for a quick sale with little regard for the consequences that purchasing a property that is not suitable will bring. Both Leslie and myself enjoyed your astute professionalism that was regularly tempered by your relaxed easy going nature which only makes it easy for all venders to openly communicate with you.
Once the decision to sell was made(not a easy decision after 24 happy years there)we evaluated three real estate companies and finally settled to go with Dowlings for a number of reasons, large market presence, preferred web site layout and ease of working around but most importantly it was your representation that impressed us the most.
This decision proved to be correct, your actions such as previewing the house prior to going to market, and your choice of marketing through not only effective but cost effective avenues resulted in offers within the first week of which by also negotiating with the sellers of our new house we were able to both sell and by our old and new properties at pricing levels that pleased all.
Even after the sale had all but been completed you still actively liaised with pest/building inspectors and met with us outside normal business hours to satisfy all concerned.
Lance you made promises at the very start and it was good to see your initial enthusiasm carried through to the end and made your promises be realised.
My wife and I both wanted to sell and buy transitioning straight from one home to the other. We were skeptical of using a real-estate agent, I think most people are, but we got help from Lance Jensen who managed both the sale and purchase for us. As a result, we sold our home in 2 days for significantly more than we expected, negotiated the purchase of a new home for significantly less than the asking price and managed a simultaneous settlement all in all saving us tens of thousands. Now we’re in our new place and have money to play with.
Lance really works for you, he’s such an honest guy, a strong communicator, gives it straight and in non-geek speak. The entire process was as pleasurable as selling a home could possibly be, we didn’t have to stress knowing that our finances were in capable hands. If truth be told, Lance was worth every cent and we still have significantly more in our pocket than we would have if we did not use his services. AAA service could not recommend this guy more highly.
